We’ve started a new series called “Identity” on Tuesday nights.  See the world will tell you that your identity, value and worth is measured by who you know, what you do, where you live, how you dress, etc.  But our real identity as believers is found in how God sees us.  We’ll be looking at what the Bible teaches us about who we really are.  A child of God, a bride, an alien, a saint, and royalty to just name a few of the identities that we’ll be looking at.

With the new series, we’ve implemented a long awaited feature to the website…RECORDED SERMONS.  Now you can follow along with the teaching, even if you miss a week.  There are a few ways to get the sermons:

1) Head over to the Core Group page, look for the Identity series, and click once to listen to it inside your browser or Right Click and choose “save as” to save it to your computer.

2)Listen to it on the Calvary Gilroy Website.  Click here to be taken to the Youth Group Sermon page on the Calvary Chapel Gilroy website.  Then just click “Launch Youth Sermon Player”

3)Subscribe to the podcast via iTunes.  Just go to the iTunes store and search for Project 412 and subscribe for free.  Each week, the podcast will be automatically downloaded to your iTunes account and you can take it with you on your iPod, iPad, iPhone, idontknowwhatelseicancallisomething. On Sunday Mornings we have started taking a look at Spiritual Warfare.  Our focus is not on what the enemy is doing but what our VICTOR has done and continues to do.  So each week we are going to be looking at 2 parts of the Armor of God. I want to encourage you to be here each week because each piece is important and I’d love for you to get the most out of this study.

To help you with the battle, I’ve put together a daily devotional for the next 3 weeks focusing on the different pieces of armor and how we can best use them.
